Lammergeier breeding sites are always popular; watching these magnificent raptors with their 3-metre wing span carrying out dramatic aerial displays is an experience never to be forgotten.

The Lammergeier, Griffon Vulture, Golden Eagle, Egyptian Vulture have all been seen flying over the house were you will be staying. Red squirrels, Edible dormice (it's ok their not on our menu!) & Crested tits are breeding in the grounds. Ariege is one of the few places in the Pyrenees were you may have the opportunity to encounter Brown Bear.
